Postdoctoral Scholars

Daniel Gonzales, PhD.  (joint with Pluta Lab)

Daniel

Daniel joined the lab in the Summer of 2019. He joined Purdue after completing his PhD in electrical engineering and applied physics at Rice University, Texas, USA . His areas of expertise are in nanofabrication, nanotechnology and neuroscience. Daniel is researching flexible nanoelectronic platforms for interfacing to dendrites in vivo and examining dendritic dynamics during active touch. Daniel was awarded a two-year Lilian Gilbreth Fellowship from the Purdue Engineering School, and was also awarded the prestigious HHMI Hanna Gray Fellowship.

Saumitra Yadav , PhD.

saumitra (002)

Saumitra joined the lab officially in the Fall of 2019. He joined Purdue after completing his PhD in nanoscience and neuroscience at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. His areas of expertise are in nano-optics, two-photon microscopy, and electrophysiology. Saumitra is researching dendritic dynamics during fear and recall using a combination of behavior, two-photon imaging, and electrophysiology.
